Field Trips

We know that planning a field trip is no easy task! Our Ticket Sales Office is open seven days a week to answer your questions and facilitate your order. Advance reservations are highly recommended as many performances sell out up to a year in advance.

Non-school Groups, click here.

Please call 404.873.3391 to speak to a Ticket Sales Representative Monday - Saturday 9am - 5pm, or Sunday 11am - 5pm. You may also download a 2008-09 group order form and mail or fax it to the Center. Please DO NOT email reservation requests.

Please review the Trip Guidelines for important information on how to make a group reservation, points to keep in mind when calling to reserve tickets, and guidelines to help us ensure that your visit is fun, safe and stress-free.

All three areas of programming at the Center for Puppetry Arts (performance, puppet-making workshops and Museum) meet Georgia Quality Core Curriculum Standards (GA QCCS) and Georgia Performance Standards. Completing your field trip rationale form is easy. Click here to download lists of standards that align with all of the Center's programs for 2008-09.

Performances

The Center's family shows are recommended for ages 4 and up, but are open to all ages. Study Guides are available for download for each Family Series performance during the school year at no charge. The New Directions Series shows are not recommended for all ages. See each show description for details.

Workshops

The Center provides a wide variety of hands on activities for all age groups. Create-A-Puppet Workshops allow your group to make a puppet to take home. Puppet designs correlate with the current show theme.

Visit our Museum!

Our permanent Museum exhibit features over 350 puppets from around the world that will delight and educate your students. Museum tours correlate with the show theme and include all Special Exhibits.
